Govt promises housing for 2.5 million people

The government says it will ensure that more than 2.5 million people in need of housing are provided with suitable accommodation in line with their earnings.
The Deputy Minister of Local Government, Public Works and National Housing, Joe Biggie Matiza, told ZBC that government aims to implement a workable plan to ensure the success of the housing for all policy.
Matiza said land barons who illegally sold council land to unsuspecting home-seekers will be brought to book.
