A member of parliament for the Morgan Tsvangirai led Movement for Democratic Change has confessed to having had a problem of having sex with spirits while in her sleep.
Member of Parliament for Midlands Province under women's quota Emma Shanziwe Muzondiwa confessed at the TB Joshua Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) live on world television that she had a problem of having unknown spirits have sex with her while in her sleep.
According to Muzondiwa this problem made her hated by people in her family and community and they ended up talking bad about her.
The issue of spiritual husbands known in Zimbabwean sectors as goblins is on the rise in the country and traditional leaders and healers have always attributed it to a certain curse within the family if it sticks to a particular person in the family.
In her confession Muzondiwa confesses that she always had nightmares and dreamt of animals and spirits tormenting her until she sort help at the SCOAN. She was prayed for at the church and given the church's popular annointing water after which all her problems fell of.
According to Muzondiwa, who is also a member of the MDC T standing committee after she was prayed for she got a job with JOMIC and was given a company car. Her appointment to JOMIC as Liaison Officer for Mashonaland East was however met by resistance and complaints from the province's MDC T members who felt it was not fair as she was from Midlands Province not Mashonaland East.
In her confession Muzondiwa goes on to thank the prayers and annointing water she got from the church for helping her land the Midlands Parliamentary Seat and changing her life around.
Muzondiwa is not the first from the Movement for Democratic Church to visit the church for consultation. The list includes party President Morgan Tsvangirai who also visited the church and was seen on world television being prayed for and a demon cast out of him in the process falling down under pressure of the Holy Spirit. Also in the list is fellow parliamentarian Ruth Labode who is a well known member of the church.
