Air Malawi to start flying Harare route

The Zimbabwe government has signed eight bilateral air service agreements which will see different airlines ply the Harare route during the course of the year.
The agreements were signed ahead of the hosting of Routes Africa later this year.
In an interview in Harare, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Development, Munesushe Munodawafa, said there is keen interest from airlines to ply the Harare route which is a positive development in terms of the growth of the tourism industry.
Munodawafa also revealed that discussions with Air Malawi were concluded and it is now a matter time before they start flying into Harare.
