Four die in road accident

Four people have died and nine others where injured when an Isuzu vehicle burst one of its rear tyre and overturned at the 288,4 kilometer peg along Harare-Bulawayo road on Tuesday at around 7pm.

The vehicle's rear tyre burst and the driver lost control resulting in the vehicle overturning several times before landing on its wheels.

All the injured passengers are admitted at Gweru hospital and the bodies of the deceased are at Gweru central mortuary, their names are being withheld until their next of kin have been advised.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police is urging the motoring public to exercise extreme caution on the roads.
