Deputy minister of Home Affairs Ziyambi Ziyambi said government is not going to arrest anyone involved in the salary racket that has rocked many parastatals in the past month based on media reports.

Ziyambi told Senators in Parliament on Thursday that no-one had come forward with the complaint to the police against any individuals involved in the corrupt salaries scandal now referred to as "salary gate"–

Meanwhile, Government has been accused of not taking the salarygate seriously as no one from those accused of looting public funds has been brought before any disciplinary hearing, Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions said Friday.

ZCTU said until action was taken against those fingered for looting state and public resources through "corrupt salaries" having  the expose' being made public by the media would mean nothing.

Japhet Moyo, ZCTU secretary general said some people implicated in the scandals had links with government officials raising fears that their cases could be swept under carpet.
