Woman 'arranges' for husband to impregnate his 'mum'

Married 24-year-old Tawanda Matsika has impregnated his mother's young sister, who according to his culture is as good as his mother.
Apparently before impregnating his mother's sister, Sofrina Matsika (18), he first fell in love with his aunt, Cynthia - the wife of his mother's brother.
Tawanda and Sofrina now have a healthy baby boy, born in January 2014.
When Kwayedza news crew visited the village, Tawanda and his wife Noliwe Kaseve had fled the village and had apparently sought refuge in Kariba.
However, the news crew met his brother-in-law, Godwell Takaendesa (36), who confirmed some of the claims.
He said the matter was reported to the traditional leaders and Tawanda appeared before the Village heads' court and fled to Kariba after attending the court session.
Tawanda's sister and Godwell's wife, Elina Matsika, also confirmed the relationship.
"I don't know what got into my brother when he fell in love with our mum.
"When we heard about their relationship, 'mainini' (aunt) was already pregnant.
"Tawanda got married to his wife three years ago.
"He hired a car and packed all his belongings and left this community," she said.
The Village headman, Sekuru Justin Matsika also confirmed the illicit love affair.
"Yes it's true. But the matter is still being discussed amongst ourselves as Village heads and traditional leaders so they won't be happy if you publish this story.
"We heard that Tawanda had failed to impregnate Cynthia so she is the one who played the match-maker role and encouraged both Tawanda and Sofrina to fall in love.
"I don't know why she really wanted Tawanda to impregnate Sofrina whom she was also staying with. Maybe it was for ritual purposes," said Village Head Matsika who is closely related to the Matsika family.
Mr Badwell Chasara (54) the Ward 10 Councellor confirmed having heard about this relationship but said the Village heads were handling the matter.
Teenager, Sofrina, also confirmed that Tawanda is the father of her child. "Tawanda and I were madly in love. He is the one who proposed love to me but I knew very well that he is my child. He went for 10 days proposing love to me but I would turn him down until he started giving me money ranging from $1 to $5 notes on various days. We thought we were just having fun until he impregnated me," she said.
