Man assaults, robs own brother of $250

ASSAULTING his brother before robbing him of $250 landed a Buhera man in trouble. Police confirmed the robbery and said Adonia Masikati (32) was assisting police with investigations.
Said Asst Insp Chananda: The duo went to Murambinda Growth Point intending to buy a beast. Since they had only $250, they failed to strike a deal with Chizhande who wanted nothing less than $300 for his beast. Adonia gave the money to Energy to take home for safekeeping. "The unsuspecting Energy went home not knowing that Adonia was following from behind. Just as he was approaching their homestead, Adonia struck his brother on the head with a brick and Energy immediately lost consciousness. "Adonia took the money from his brother's pockets and fled. When he finally came to, Energy made a report to the police and led to his brother's arrest," he said
