Journalist David Muzhuzha has lost his claim for defamation against MDC-T over the party's 1999 name coinage, with the High Court ruling recently that he failed to prove his case against the opposition party, Herald reported.
Muzhuzha (46) filed a US$200 000 lawsuit in December 2011 claiming defamation from MDC-T's refusal to acknowledge him as the person who coined its name.
In a judgement made available recently, Justice Joseph Martin Mafusire found no merit in the case after Muzhuzha failed to challenge MDC-T's application for absolution from the instance.
