MDC-T official fired over Mangoma

MDC-T Matabeleland South provincial chairman, Washy Sibanda has paid a price for allegedly being in the Elton Mangoma faction.
According to ZimbabweFocus, the province youth assembly on Saturday passed a vote of no confidence on him.
"As youth we have lost confidence in the leadership of Washy Sibanda, we passed a vote of no confidence and therefore call him to vacate the chairmanship position forthwith for failing to lead" said the youths.
Sibanda is also accused of keeping the party's new Isuzu truck at his home since last year February.
He was given seven days to surrender the vehicle.
He is also accused of attending a "clandestine meeting in Nyanga of which details were not disclosed to the province and he has allegedly not called for a meeting for the past seven months".
On Mangoma, the youth claimed that the treasury general of sabotaging the party's 2013 election campaign but not releasing funds.
The said Mangoma kept the funds to bankroll his presidential push.
"While the Matabeleland South youth assembly acknowledge that elections on the 31 July, 2013 were rigged we feel that the treasury (Elton Mangoma) sabotaged the campaign by under funding the whole process. By declaring himself a President, Mangoma must be investigated since the youth have a strong suspicion that he has channelled party funds to himself preparing his renewal debacle, hence sabotaging the elections' they said
