Jailed for caressing someone's wife

A CHEEKY Highfield man had the guts to caress a married woman's buttocks and went on to bash her husband into unconsciousness! The disrespectful drunkard will languish behind bars for the next 20 months for that offence. Kasirai Kudziita was strolling at Machipisa Shopping Centre when he failed to resist the inviting buttocks of one Batsirai Zisengwe's wife and he reached out and caressed her.
Batsirai could not stomach this blatant provocation of another man invading his 'territory' so he confronted Kasirai. Instead of apologising, Kasirai retaliated. He charged towards Batsirai and struck him with an unknown metal object. As a result, Batsirai collapsed on the tarmac and sustained serious injuries.
It was for that reason that Kasirai was arrested and brought to court. He faced an assault charge before Mbare magistrate Arnold Maburo. The magistrate questioned him: "Why did you commit the offence? "You started by touching his wife and you went on to bash him!" Kasirai remained was silent.
Prosecutor, Emmanuel Chipanda also castigated Kaisari's belligerent conduct. "His behaviour is totally unacceptable in our society. "He initially indecently assaulted Batsirai's wife by touching her buttocks. "As if that was not enough, he went on to assault the husband for questioning why he had touched his wife.
"An apology would have solved everything but he opted for violence. "The courts are tired of such bullies and I pray that you incarcerate this disrespectful man," he argued. The magistrate granted Chipanda's plea and slapped Kasirai with a two-year jail term. However, four months were deducted on condition that Kasirai does not commit a similar offence in the next five years.
The Highfiled man will cool his heels in the stocks for the next 20 months. Agreed facts are that on May 14 around 6pm, Batsirai went to Machipisa Shopping Centre for shopping with his wife. Along the way, they came across Kasirai who grabbed Batsirai's wife and touched her buttocks. Batsirai confronted the amorous man who then retaliated by attacking him viciously.
As the crowd gathered to watch the free drama, it is said Kasirai became bullish. With no hope of solving the issue, Batsirai turned to proceed to his destination. Suddenly, Kasirai came from behind and struck him with an unknown object. Batsirai collapsed and suffered severe injuries and had to be rushed to hospital. A police report was lodged and Kasirai was subsequently arrested.
