Highlanders and Warriors trio in road accident

Three Highlanders and National team stars Peter Rio Moyo, Kuda Mahachi and Milton Ncube have been involved in a car accident in Kadoma on their way to Harare.

Reports from the scene of the accident however indicate that the three players look fine but have been rushed to hospital for a check up.

The three players were on their way to Harare from Bulawayo to join the Warriors camp ahead of the mid week international friendly match with the Flames of Malawi.

Eye witnesses say the vehicle may have burst a tyre and veered off the road.

A Highlanders official said Ncube was driving the car, a Toyota Vitz, when he lost control.

"They were all rushed to Kadoma hospital. We are yet to get official communication but the fact that they were treated and discharged, seems to indicate their injuries were minor," said the official.
