38-year-old Steven Patukani, a fisherman from Chadereka, Muzarabani in Zimbabwe has survived a crocodile attack because of his trousers.
The crocodile got hold of the man but he managed to escape and the crocodile was left biting the trousers.
Patukani, who is married and has four children, was left with several wounds.
He is thankful to his trousers and he says they saved him after he had fought with the beast for more than 30 minutes.
He says he cannot stop going back to river because he is a fisherman despite that fact that two people have already died due to similar attacks just this year in the region.
Taninga Vareta fought a hippo on the 14th of January and Petros Mbarika Kureya was attacked by a crocodile.
