Tsvangirai plots Mangoma expulsion

Opposition MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai has moved to cut loose political foe and party deputy treasurer Elton Mangoma, ahead of a watershed national council meeting now scheduled for Friday.
The vital indaba, which could decide the future of the fledgling opposition movement, was moved from Saturday last week following the untimely death of Tsvangirai's former spokesperson and veteran journalist William Bango in a car accident last Tuesday.
Party spokesperson Douglas Mwonzora confirmed the national council will now sit on Friday but will not be "turned into a disciplinary hearing".
MDC-T national chairman Lovemore Moyo, in-charge of the team probing accusations against Mangoma, confirmed they had finished their investigations.
