Man found dead near flea market

A 28-year-old man was found dead in a park near Mupedzanhamo Flea Market along Simon Mazorodze Road, police said yesterday.
Harare Provincial police spokesperson Inspector Tedius Chibanda confirmed the incident. He said the man could have been murdered since he was bleeding from the mouth.
He withheld the name of the deceased until his next of keen are advised.
"We received a report of a man who was found dead yesterday morning in a park near Mupedzanhamo Flea Market along Simon Mazorodze Road by a policeman who was on his way to work.
"The man was wearing a black trousers, black T-shirt and black socks but he had no shoes which we suspect could have been stolen by the suspects," he said.
The matter was reported at Matapi Police Station.
The body was taken to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals for a post-mortem.
Insp Chibanda appealed to members of the public to desist from travelling during the night and to avoid flashing their expensive gadgets at night as they attracted thieves.
