Biti accused of working with Zanu-PF

MDC-T national executive member Obert Gutu has hinted that party secretary general Tendai Biti might be working with Zanu PF accusing the former finance minister of holding a press conference nicodemously.
Biti on Friday held a press conference dismissing an announced suspension of MDC-T deputy treasure Elton Mangoma b the party national executive.
Mangoma's troubles stemmed from his calls for party leader Morgan Tsvangirai to step down.
"When a very senior party official nicodemously addresses a press conference behind the backs of his colleagues, you know something very fishy is happening behind the scenes," Gutu said.
"When ZBC TV gives a Zanu PF political adversary ten minutes of virtually uninterrupted positive coverage on their prime time news hour bulletin, some of us saw it coming."
Meanwhile, MDC 99 leader Job Sikhala has warned that the MDC-T will be weaker after an imminent split.
"It will take a reality check for you to discover that what you celebrate as victory today is your actual burial. There is no shirt no matter how beautiful it is, that has pieces torn out of it that will remain admirable," Sikhala said.
"Even if you still holding to the larger part of the shirt it will be tattered still. There is no winner on the Morgan Tsvangirai/Tendai Biti feud as insolent people want to believe. Mark my words, when the time comes.
"When the time comes to reap results for this nasty divorce comes to fruition, that's when the clever ones will discover that there is no one without importance. We might scream about the puppet and the puppeteer today but the day shall come when the puppet and the puppeteer shall be missed."
