Teenagers arrested for producing and circulating p*rn

Police have arrested some teenagers in Harare over the production and circulation of p*rnographic material.
The teenagers were arrested and were released into the custody of their parents and are expected to appear in court this week.
Police National Spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said some of the teenagers, who are producing the p*rnographic material, were also allegedly involved in drug abuse.
It is believed that the material was then circulated among the teenagers resulting in some reporting the issue to their parents.
A report was then made leading to the arrest of the teenagers involved.
Senior Assistant Commissioner Charamba revealed that a number of parents have approached the police expressing concern over the circulation of the p*rnographic materials among their children.
Recently, a parent, whose child is alleged to have participated in the circulation of undesirable material, is reported to have confronted police officers who were carrying out investigations.
It is an offence under Zimbabwean laws for anyone to be found in possession of or produce p*rnographic material.
