Dad forces children to watch p*rn

A city man reportedly forced his minor children to watch p*rnographic videos before attempting to rape one of his daughters.
Peter Kupika was caught by his wife, Tariro Kuchasaraani, attempting to rape his daughter.
Kuchasaraani yesterday hauled Kupika before the Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order against him.
She told magistrate Gamuchirai Siwardi that her husband is violent and is threatening to kill her and burn the house.
"I have suffered a lot of assaults since I got married to Peter in 1992," she said.
"He attempted to rape our daughter and I did not report the matter to the police because he apologised."
Kuchasaraani produced p*rnographic videos which she alleged her husband showed to the children.
"He forced the children to watch p*rnographic videos when I was in Botswana and I do not know what he is teaching them," she said.
"Recently, he came home at midnight and asked the children for his axe.
"After he failed to locate it, he came with a steel bar and struck me.
"He later poured petrol into the house threatening to set it alight. Sometimes I have to seek shelter at a nearby cabin because of his abuse."
Kupika strenuously denied his wife's allegations. He said the reason why he went into their bedroom armed with a steel bar was because his wife was having extra-marital affairs.
"All what she is saying is not true," he said.
"I have been taking care of the children for seven years. She does not stay at home.
"When I went home that night, I wanted to give the children money for food. I did not insult or assault her."
Magistrate Siwardi ordered Kupika to stop abusing Kuchasaraani verbally, physically and emotionally.
She ordered him to refrain from perpetrating any form of violence toward his wife and the children. The magistrate warned that he risked being arrested.
