Bride cheats two weeks before her big day, wedding cancelled

Harare woman's wedding has been cancelled for the second time over the same reason after she was caught red-handed, cheating with another man.

The embarrassing drama occurred on Monday evening at corner Harare Street and Josiah Tongogara, Volendam Court Flat number 12 in the Avenues area when Linda Ruwizhi (22) who was set to wed next week was caught red-handed for the second time with an Iranian identified as Armaan Raja.

Linda and Raja were confronted at the latter's place by the former's husband, Forgive Mhungu who was in the company of his aunt, Amai Mufundisi Chukumbi.

The four-year-old marriage between Linda and Forgive seems to have irretrievably broken. Linda's marriage has been cancelled for the second time after Linda's infidelity was exposed again; in the first incident she was pardoned but the wedding was cancelled and NOW heavens know if there will be another pardon.

The duo of Raja and Forgive are long time friends but when Linda came into picture trouble began.

"We were friends but the problem came with this issue of my relationship with Linda," said Raja.

Forgive lied to Linda that he was going to Mozambique.

"I told her that I am going to Mozambique knowing that she was going to meet this guy and leave the child with Mai prince, her friend who is fully aware of the arrangement (between Linda and Raja). She is in love with four men and this guy is the fourth one and they slept together, my wife told me. We were set to wed next week and the last time the wedding was cancelled last minute after I caught her red-handed again with the same guy but i forgave her. We lost a lot of money after all the preparations," said Forgive.

His aunt confirmed that the two were set to wed next week.

"Forgive is set to wed next week because he is at Bible school where they need a marriage certificate. yesterday he asked for money to buy the wedding rings and his wife's parents are aware of the developments. Forgive paid lobola in full. We don't owe Linda's parents anything. She once slept at the hotel with this guy and we forgave her but she has done it again," said Mai Mufundisi Chukumbi.

Linda, who is being accused of cheating with four different men despite being a married woman, said Raja knew very well that she was a married woman.

"I am confused about this. We once dated whilst I was with my husband and I told him that I was now married. He even knows my daughter," said Linda.

However, Raja claimed that he didn't know Linda was no longer single.

"Why didn't you tell me that you were married? last time you told me it's your boyfriend and if you are married why are you still coming here? I am not stupid to hook up with married woman. I have a plenty of these (girlfriends). I am a muslim and I don't sleep with married woman. I am still a single guy. She told me she is a single mother," he said.

Raja also blamed Forgive for failing to control his wife.

"Why can't you control your wife and she is dating four boyfriends! Why can't you leave her?" he added.

The angry Mai Mufundisi blasted Raja for spending a night with Linda at the lodge.

"Last time you went to the lodge with linda and slept with her. It's unfair that you sleep with her and she goes to sleep with her husband," she said.

Mufundisi Chukumbi could not stomach the shenanigans and demanded the lobola from the Iranian.

"We have been trapping you, and Linda is legally married. We paid more than US$6,000 and we want that money back. I want her aunt to know that she is cheating but now she is your wife because her husband no longer loves her."

Forgive said Linda sends messages to her friend on how she enjoys sex with other boyfriends.
