Government workers who have yet to get a pay rise in three years are this Friday set to host another birthday celebration for President Robert Mugabe who turned 90 last month.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) along with security services bosses will hold another feast for the veteran Zanu-PF leader "to thank the president for leading the country and his role in the long walk to freedom".
PSC chairperson Mariwanda Nzuwah said members of the police, defence, prisons and civil servants, requested to be afforded an opportunity to celebrate Mugabe's 90th birthday.
In February, a $1 million party was hosted by the Zanu-PF youth wing to celebrate Mugabe's birthday in Marondera while the generality of Zimbabweans struggle to survive.
Nzuwah said approximately 4,000 representatives from the security services and civil service are expected to attend the man function.
Similar celebrations will be held in all the country's 10 provinces.
Trade unions representatives have also been invited to attend to second round of feasting.
