Mugabe pokes fun at MDC-T in-fighting

President Mugabe has poked fun at the troubles bedevilling the MDC-T saying a Zanu-PF win threw the opposition party into turmoil.

"Tikangobatana sezvatakaita muna July 31 vanopazika pachavo (MDC-T) iye zvino vamwe vakuti Tsvangirai ngaachienda haachagone ukuwo Tsvangirai achiti aiwa party ndeyangu vamwe vese muri vauyi (If we unite like we did on July 31, they (MDC-T) will break-up. Now others are saying Tsvangirai must go with Tsvangirai refusing to go saying its his party)," he said.

On squabblings within his own party Mugabe said that provincial chairpersons were the ultimate Zanu-PF authority in their respective provinces but this did not mean they should not respect party leaders and processes.

Mugabe was speaking at the official opening of the Sabina Mugabe High School which was largely financed by Mbada Diamonds. The school is in Zvimba.
