Job Sikhala has just told an MDC-T rally in Bulawayo that President Mugabe must be removed from power now.
"We won't wait for 2018 elections; we'll remove President Mugabe from power now," charged Sikhala without elaborating. He was addressing a rally in Bulawayo today.
Sikhala has rejoined the MDC-T after years in the political wilderness. He said Zanu-PF will never again be allowed to rig elections. He said the MDC-T had been cheated out of victory enough.
"Time to put a stop to rigging," he said. He did not say how his MDC-T will thwart the ruling party rigging machine.
On his return, Sikhala said "I didn't look for Tsvangirai, we looked for each other."
At the rally at which MDC secretary general Tendai Biti is nowhere to be seen several figures are taking turns to praise Tsvangirai while denouncing the rebels.
Eddie Cross said "Tsvangirai yiNkosi Yami." while Dr Ruth Labode said "in the name of Jesus Tsvangirai will rule this country."
Theresa Makoni said Biti and Mangoma will be nothing in 6 months time. Nelson Chamisa told the crowd that he was not a bootlicker. He was only showing respect to his leader.
Chamisa blamed Zanu-PF for the graffiti at the MDC-T offices in Bulawayo.
