MDC-T prodigal son Job Sikhala has dismissed fears that secretary general Tendai Bití and deputy treasure Elton Mangoma might leave the party as divisions widen within the political organisation.

MDC-T has been rocked by chaos following calls by Mangoma for Tsvangirai to step down as party president.

Sikhala said everyone shared similar thoughts of a united front to dislodge Zanu-PF.

"Continuing with my series of views of how Zimbabwe can no longer afford the luxury of reaching 2018 under the current prevailing circumstances, l want to tell everyone that the current dictatorship in our country has always been celebrating a fragmentation of opposition forces," Sikhala said.

"A unitary force of Zimbabweans in heart and spirit is the mainstay of our panacea to freedom. I am happy to announce that, behind closed doors contrary to incessant press reports, everyone is accepting that unity of purpose is the only available roadmap to our dream free society."

The leader of the now defunct MDC 99 said all forces opposed to the dictatorship are in unison to find each other.

"Don't be fooled, Biti is not going anywhere. Mangoma is not going anywhere. They also know the importance of the challenge we are facing in the country," Sikhala said.

" Those wishing for collapse are joking. We are more united in our wisdom than ever before."
