Police say the net is closing fast on the four suspects who were in possession of the motor bomb that exploded and killed a 30-year old wielder in Harare's Sunningdale suburb.
Investigations have also indicated that one of the four suspects has some facial injuries.
Police National Spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba says the suspect could be receiving treatment at a private hospital.
She appealed to the public to give information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect.
According to investigations, the suspect was thrown into a maize field due to the bomb explosion and is reported to have sustained serious facial injuries.
"We suspect the injured person is receiving treatment at home or at a private hospital and we appeal to doctors and all Zimbabweans to give relevant information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect," said Charamba.
It has also been established that the other three accused persons dragged their injured colleague into a white Pajero Junior they were travelling in.
It is an offence for anyone to protect criminals and if found wanting one can be charged for obstructing the course of justice.
