Man sodomises nephews

A 27-year-old Bulawayo man is reported to have habitually sodomised his two nephews until one of them fled from home.

Brighton Sibanda of Magwegwe North would reportedly wear a condom before sexually abusing the boys (names withheld) aged 15 and 17.

So strong was urge that he would reportedly sodomise them the whole night changing from one to the other.

One of the boys could not stand the abuse and fled to his rural home.

The boy that was left behind is mentally challenged.

With one boy left, Sibanda would abuse the juvenile the whole night.

The boy could not take the continuous abuse and ended up seeking refuge with a neighbour, whom he told of Sibanda's deviant behaviour.

A report was made to the police leading to Sibanda's arrest.

Sibanda appeared before Western Commonage magistrate Willard Maphios Moyo, facing charges of aggravated sodomy.

He denied the charge saying he had been in Chinhoyi at the time the offence allegedly took place.

Prosecutor Kenneth Shava said on unknown dates during the year 2013 the accused person performed several sex attacks on the juvenile.

Shava said on March 10 the juvenile could not bear the torture and reported the matter to a neighbour.

Sibanda was remanded in custody to March 28.
