Mugabe expected to meet Zuma ahead of Sadc Summit

Cape Town - Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe is expected to meet with President Jacob Zuma on Friday ahead of an extraordinary SADC summit on Zimbabwe to be held in Johannesburg on Saturday, the state owned Herald newspaper reported.
The newspaper said Mugabe's spokesperson George Charamba confirmed the meeting between the two leaders.
"The president is slated to meet President Zuma tomorrow (Friday) afternoon...The two will clear the ground on the political situation in Zimbabwe ahead of the summit," said Charamba.
This weekend's summit is expected to set out a timeline for completing work on a new constitution which would lead to fresh elections in Zimbabwe.
