MDC-T official on the run

Police have launched a manhunt for MDC-T Harare North district organizing secretary, Patson Makore who allegedly assaulted a fellow party activist, Angele Wanyanya accusing her of being aligned to a rival faction led by suspended deputy treasurer-general, Elton Mangoma.

The alleged attack took place at a Harare provincial executive meeting which resulted in Paul Madzore, the elected provincial chairperson and his secretary, Willas Madzimure, together with the organizing secretary Tichaona Munyanyi being deposed from their official position.

National Police spokesperson, Charity Charamba said they are concerned by the level of intolerance within the MDC-T party and people should learn to resolve their problems harmoniously.
