Man sleeps with mistress' 11-year-old daughter

31-year-old Elisha Hamudi Chinheya, a married father of three from Harare, was on Sunday confronted by his mistress, a mother of an 11-year-old girl, who he allegedly attempted to rape.
This came after word circulated that he had attempted to rape the girl in exchange for US$5.
"This girl normally comes at Gomba following her mother who frequents bars for 'survival' and we drink together.
"So I saw her standing outside the bar and thought that people would mistake her for a prostitute and think kuti arikukwirisa.
"I then told her to sit next to me since her mother and I are very tight friends.
"Since I was drinking she requested for something to drink but I had no extra money. I promised to give her US$5 and she left.
"I told her that if she needed money she could come any time.
"Money is not a problem, I see her as my own child. Her mother approached me today over the issue but I told her that there was no need to leave her outside since she could fall prey to marauding men patronizing bars in the area.
"We are best friends with her mother but the problem came when she (the young girl) bled and since people have seen me with her they started spreading the word that I had raped her. She had just gone to her periods," claimed Elisha.
The girl's mother opened up and said the girl had not been raped.
"My child has since denied all these claims. He offered her US$5 and she refused. If she was indeed raped she would have told me because even Chinheya also denied those allegations.
"He only told her to come closer to him before offering her $5 which she refused to accept," claimed the mother.
The mother defended her married boyfriend and said she would not report the matter to the police.
"Chinheya and I are best of friends and we share a lot of stuff in life. She was not given the money and she was not even fondled.
"People are lying that he is having sex with my daughter. I drink beer and we drink together with Chinheya," she said.
Asked about the issue, the young girl however reportedly confirmed that Chinheya proposed love to her.
"He called me and asked me to sit close to where he was seated but I refused. He proposed to me after telling me that he likes me and I warned him to respect me. He then offered US$5 which I turned down," she said.
The girl's mother said Elisha, despite being a married man, had been warned against hitting on school girls.
"He is always told to stay away from school girls but he doesn't listen. Now he was targeting my own daughter. I always warn my daughter not to follow me to the beer hall but she always comes looking for me," she said.
The woman and her 'boyfriend' agreed to solve the matter in a 'friendly' manner without including the police.
