Mangoma's 9th 'assailant' in court

An MDC-T youth suspected of being involved in the assault of suspended treasurer-general, Elton Mangoma at Harvest House in Harare in February appeared at the Harare Magistrates Courts yesterday facing assault charges.
This brings to nine youths arraigned before the court so far facing charges of assaulting Mangoma who was suspended by the party for writing a letter which calledfor leadership renewal.
According to the state, on February 15 2014, Denford Ngadziore and his accomplices waylaid Mangoma as he was coming out of a meeting at the party headquarters.
Ngadziore and the other accused confronted Mangoma and assaulted him with open hands and fists all over his body and damaged his spectacles during the scuffle.
