Media Information and Broadcasting Services minister, Professor Jonathan Moyo has reportedly fired Sunday Mail Editor Brezhnev Malaba over yet unclear circumstances.
Malaba was allegedly fired on Friday.
Sources at Herald House claim Malaba is a victim of protracted war between Zanu PF politburo members, Moyo and Transport and Infrastructure Development minister, Obert Mpofu.
Moyo is reportedly purging all journalists in the state media with links to Mpofu
