Young entrepreneurs say the freedom Zimbabwe enjoys has unlocked endless opportunities which have enabled them to participate in the mainstream economy and contribute to the fiscus.
Through government policies, the youths have been provided with opportunities to set up businesses.
Financial institutions have also been roped in to ensure that projects run by the youths are properly financed.
Those who have successfully set up their businesses say they owe it to the gallant sons and daughters of the soil who sacrificed their lives to free the country.
They say the freedom and peace that prevail in the country has given them recognition as important players in all sectors.
For the girl child, it is the empowerment of women through equal opportunities and participation which gives her the joy of celebrating the emancipation of the majority of black Zimbabweans.
Zimbabwe will this year celebrate 34 years of independence from the shackles of oppression and colonialism.
