Gumbura's security guard acquitted

 Magistrate Victoria Mashamba has acquitted two security guards of jailed RMG Independent End Time Message Martin Gumbura who were facing charges of obstructing the course of justice.

The two Simbarashe Musiyiwa and Tendai Mandevani had been on trial for allegedly barring a police officer from entering Gumbura's Marlborough house to investigate the cleric rape.

Mashamba ruled that there inconsistences in the the evidence given by the State witness against the guards, which instilled doubt into the court's mind that the witness was telling the truth.
