Disabled man divorced over sex

A physically-challenged man yesterday told a Harare court that his wife divorced him because he failed to satisfy her in bed.
Taona Dzama told magistrate Gamuchirai Siwardi that his wife Moreblessing Banda claimed he was failing to meet her demands in bed.
Dzama revealed this in court after Banda hauled her before the Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order against him.
She had told the court that Dzama was causing havoc at her house and harassing her tenants.
Banda said Dzama was also in the habit of insulting her, threatening to evict her from their matrimonial home.
"He wants me to move out from our matrimonial house but it is registered in my name. He once came back home and broke the window so as to gain entry and started insulting me," she said.
"She is lying, how can I cause havoc since I am disabled," argued Dzama.
"She told me that I am failing to satisfy her in bed since I have no legs before she divorced me. Last week, she made me sleep outside the house but I am the owner of that house.
"I had a meeting with her parents after she complained to them that I am not good enough for her in bed as I am failing to satisfy her. She just wants to get a leeway to bring her boyfriends into my house."
Banda told the court that she wanted Dzama barred from visiting her.
Magistrate Siwardi dismissed Banda's application saying she should lodge an application at the High Court if she wanted Dzama out.
