Kombi runs over toddler

According to a reader, the confrontation between kombi crews and the police turned nasty and ended in an unfortunate incident where a commuter omnibus- allegedly fleeing from police- ran over a toddler at the corner of Chinhoyi Street and Kwame Nkrumah Avenue this afternoon.

The witness said the driver only stopped after realising he had crushed the child to death.
