Pro-Tsvangirai group seizes assets

Opposition members sympathetic to MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai forced open the MDC provincial offices and seized a vehicle, two computers, an electric fan and party membership cards to stop the rival renewal team loyal to expelled secretary-general Tendai Biti from using the items.

Three of the suspects who seized the property were arrested late on Monday and are assisting police with investigations.

The suspects are likely to appear in court on Wednesday with the hunt for their co-accused underway.
