MDC-T sends begging bowl to party supporters

MDC-T has taken its begging bowl to party supporters as donors turn their backs on the faction ridden movement.

Top officials from the Morgan Tsvangirai faction, most of whom were suspended by a group calling itself the renewal team, took turns to beg ordinary supporters to donate R5 each a month at a rally held in Epworth on Sunday.

Acting secretary general, Tapiwa Mashakada took to the podium asking members to contribute 50 cents each month as a sign of support.

Also on the podium was organising secretary, Nelson Chamisa who opined that the MDC-T was no different from burial societies that survive on membership contributions.
