Biti pokes fun on Tsvangirai, gives him a nickname

MDC-T faction leader, Tendai Biti is poking fun at his rival, Morgan Tsvangirai whom he is now calling Gumbura.
"We are asking ourselves whether Morgan (Tsvangirai) can take us anywhere. Tsvangirai was not the only person who formed this party. We were also there and Gumbura (Tsvangirai) alone cannot treat this party as a private property.
"He has blundered on numerous occasions. Some of us resisted joining the inclusive Government, but for the love of power he led us into the inclusive Government that did little to address the core challenges the country is facing.
"When we went into the inclusive Government, we consulted experts on our chances in last year's July 31 elections and we were told that there is no way we could win the elections as long as the reforms that we wanted were not in place.
"Somehow, Gumbura led us into the elections. As a renewal team we will make efforts to engage the likes of Dumiso Dabengwa, Welshman Ncube, Lovemore Madhuku, Simba Makoni and other democrats," he said in Mutare last week.
