Groundsman rapes employer's 7 year old daughter

A groundsman (18) employed by a family which resides in Darlington medium-density suburb of Mutare was arrested for allegedly raping his employers' seven-year-old daughter.
The accused is alleged to have called the child into a wooden cabin which is used as a storeroom.
He then ordered the complainant to remove her clothes before raping her.
After the act, he told the child that if she dared tell anyone about what had happened, she would become blind for the rest of her life.
In fear, the child did not say anything.
The matter only came to light after the maid who was giving her a bath noticed that the complainant's private parts were swollen.
The maid then told the child's mother who then reported the case to the police leading to the accused's arrest.
Asst Insp Clean urged parents to be open with their children so that they report cases of abuse without fear of being blamed.
"Parents should always educate their children about sexual abuse so that they report the cases immediately.
"This will also help us apprehend the perpetrators before they escape," he said.
