Zanu-PF National Secretary for Legal Affairs, Emmerson Mnangagwa says the newly elected Midlands provincial executive has a huge task of uniting party structures to ensure developmental programmes are implemented harmoniously in the province.
Mnangagwa, who was guest of honour a meeting in Chirumhanzu, acknowledged the province has had its fair share of challenges that have since been resolved leaving the new executive with the task of ensuring that all party structures are united and moving in unison.
He said party business has been stagnant for close to seven months following the disputed executive elections that saw five executive members who were in the basket being erroneously excluded from the system.
Mnangagwa also denied leading a faction saying factionalism exists in papers that are bent on creating discord in the party.
The newly elected executive is being introduced to the people throughout the Midlands province as a way of creating cordial relations.
The inter-district meeting was graced by government officials, central committee and politburo members.
