Tsvangirai fails to deliver donations for flood victims

MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai has failed to deliver food stuff sourced for Tokwe Mukosi victims two months after claiming that Zanu-PF functionaries had blocked his visit to the camp.

Sources say the goods were later used by the party to pay its workers who had gone for months without getting salaries.

Minister of State for Masvingo province Kudakwashe Bhasikiti said was still waiting for the consignment from MDC T which had earlier cried foul.

Tsvangirai's spokesperson Luke Tamborinyoka said his boss is finalising logistics to move the goods to Chingwizi camp.

Over 3 000 villagers were evacuated earlier this year when the banks of the dam burst leading to flooding.
