Raunchy dancer Beverley Sibanda has been arrested. The popular performer is yet to be charged but suspicion is that she has been nabbed for her explicit dancing.
Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba confirmed the arrest, but could not give more details.
Snr Asst Comm Charamba said: "Ehe asungwa, saka? Ndozvandinokwanisa kutaura chete. (Yes she has been arrested, so what? That is all I can say!"
The dancer's manager, Hapaguti "Hapaz" Mapimhidze confirmed her arrest saying she will be appear in court on Wednesday.
Pictures of her performing at the Harare International Carnival Samba Night, at the Airport Lounge went viral on the social network.
In the pictures, she is seen making sexual moves to a man who she instructs to lie down.
The Former Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries member has in recent times torched a storm after her semi-undressed pictures.
"I walked into the police station today at 10am after I was called by the police," Bev told the Daily News.
"I do not know the crime I have committed but I am convinced that it has something to do with my dances during the Harare International Carnival," she said.
This is the second time that Bev has been behind bars over breaching terms of her licence as she was arrested together with Noleen "Zoey" Sifelani in September 2012.
She however had the last laugh as she released a video that showed her dancing in revealing red lingerie.
