Chief Elections Officer, Sekeramayi dies at 67

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) Chief Elections Officer, Mr Lovemore Chipunza Sekeramayi has died.
He was 67.
Mr Sekeramayi died in Lesotho where he had gone to attend a meeting of chief election officers for electoral management bodies in the region.
ZEC Chairperson, Justice Rita Makarau confirmed Mr Sekeramayi's death and expressed condolences to the surviving spouse, Mrs Esther Sekeramayi and the family.
Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
Mr Sekeramayi was the ZEC Chief Elections Officer from 2007 to date.
Mourners are gathered at house number 31, Hindhead Avenue, Chisipite, Harare.
