Madzibaba arrested for clowning with a ZRP uniform

A member of the now notorious Masowe Cult has been arrested after a picture of him in a police uniform went viral on the internet.

The man from Westlea in Harare only identified as Madzibaba Chacha was arrested on Thursday afternoon when his friends circulated a picture of him in a police uniform in his Masowe bearded face on social networks. According to reports, Madzibaba Chacha who is a tailor had been left with the uniform by a police officer to make alterations on the uniform.

Sources close to the tailor claim that Chacha was not aware that he was being photographed by friends while he was trying the policeman's uniform to see if the alteration he was doing had been done well.

Immediate information could not be obtained from the police on what charges the man is going to be facing.

The picture has hit the social media by storm with captions such as "Masompurisa" or "Mpurisowe" while others wrote "Zimbabwe Republic Postori ZRP."

The picture comes hot in the heels of last week's incident where members of the Zimbabwe Republic Police were assaulted heavily by members of the Johane Masowe cult in Budiriro Harare when the police attempted to disrupt a church service of the cult to investigate reports of women and child abuse at the shrine.
