Two escape death in freak accident

It was a usual quiet morning in Highfield suburb, with men, women and children dashing to their workstations or schools respectively.

The daily routine day was however, suddenly disturbed by two huge 'boom' sounds where the main High-Glen Road meets Gwebi Street.

What had just happened, a white commuter omnibus travelling along High Glen Road and luckily occupied only by the driver, had just ploughed into a Nissan Sunny Super Saloon car that failed to give way as it entered high Glen road from Gwebi Street.

On impact, the minibus ‘flew' off the road and only stopped when it hit a tree, just a few metres from a built-up residential section of Western Triangle.
