Mugabe back home from G77

President Robert Mugabe is back home from the G77+China summit held in Bolivia at the weekend.
The President was met at the Harare International Airport, by Vice President Joice Mujuru, Information, Media and Broadcasting Services Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo, the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Didymus Mutasa, the Minister of State for Harare province, Miriam Chikukwa, and the Deputy Minister of Health and Child Care Dr Paul Chimedza.
President Mugabe's delegation included Foreign Affairs Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi and the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services, Mr George Charamba as well as some senior government officials.
Evaluating the summit, Minister Mumbengegwi said the turn out was high and member states were unanimous that poverty eradication is of paramount importance in the post 2015 agenda.
Mumbengegwi said it was also pleasing at the summit to hear leaders echoing President Mugabe's views on the need for developing countries to use their resources for development.
The G77+China summit held in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra brought together heads of state and government from the developing world.
It provided a platform for the developing countries to strategise on the way forward in improving the lives of their people.
