The Zimbabwe Republic Police has warned its members against engaging in corrupt activities saying those found wanting will be dealt with accordingly.

Corruption has been of major concern in all sectors of the economy and the ZRP is continuing to educate its members on the need to shun the vice.

In an interview with the ZBC on the sidelines of an induction course for the newly promoted Superintendents in the organisation, ZRP Commissioner Nonkosi Ncube who is responsible for human resources said senior police officers should lead by example.

"The organisation does not tolerate corruption as it tarnishes the image of the organisation. Those found wanting should be dealt with accordingly," she said.

The induction course will enable the officers to fully appreciate new roles and discharge their duties to the expectations of the organisation and the public at large.
