A suspected hooker allegedly threw an 18-year-old man from the second floor of a building in the Avenues area after he turned down her sexual advances.
The man, Innocent Sifiyalo, had gone to Kenedin Court to see his friend. It is alleged Daina Bhutsu (30) allegedly lured him to a room where she claimed his friend was.
She then threw him out through the window. Bhutsu was on Friday arraigned before Harare magistrate Mr Noel Mupeiwa charged with attempted murder. She was remanded out of custody on $100 bail.
Prosecutor Mrs Tinashe Kanyemba-Makiya alleges that on the February 11 this year, Sifiyalo went to Kenedin Court looking for a woman only identified as Yvonne. He met Bhutsu and she volunteered to take him to Yvonne.
Bhutsu took the unsuspecting Sifiyalo to her room and locked the doors.
She made sexual advances to Sifiyalo pledging a good offer and services than Yvonne. A scuffle erupted with Sifiyalo resisting the advances. The court heard that Sifiyalo hit Bhutsu with an object on the forehead and fought with the suspected hooker unleashing thunderous fists.
Bhutsu, it is further alleged, pushed Sifiyalo against the window breaking it in the process.
She overpowered Sifiyalo and threw him out through the window from the second floor. Sifiyalo suffered a broken leg and arm and was rushed to Parirenyatwa Hospital.
Bhutsu is due back in court on July 2.
