Woman drinks poison after in-laws torture her over lobola

A woman has committed suicide by consuming poison to end her life following alleged torture by her husband and in-laws over dowry in Domri village in India.
According to reports, Sadhna (22) of Mirzapur was married with Babulal Sahni in 2013.
When her condition deteriorated due to the poison, the in-laws informed her parents instead of taking her to the hospital.
Later, she was admitted to a private hospital where she died on Friday morning.
Her parents lodged an FIR alleging dowry killing against husband Babulal Sahni, father-in-law Phoolchand Sahni and mother-in-law Reeta Sahni.
The police have detained Babulal for interrogation.
