Zapu dismiss falsely disseminated inaccurate reports about the party
In a press release statement issued today, ZAPU South Africa province said it is perturbed to note the continued 'Media Fraud' reports by Radio VOP who falsely disseminates inaccurate information about the Party.
The Zapu statement said, that, "A group of
people dressed in Zapu regalia protested being addressed by a Shona person that
resulted in the proceedings being disrupted. Tribal jingles were also sung
demonizing certain tribes." Under the headline Political Intolerance Disrupts
Anti-Mugabe Demonstration.
Previously they quoted a Zapu official during an ANC Star Rally, unfortunately they had never interviewed anyone as our Information and Publicity team has never been interviewed by anyone from Radio VOP.
We challenge Radio VOP to fully follow and engage ZAPU in a proper way if they need any information from ZAPU.
We attended the Summit to call for the Diaspora Vote to be implemented soon and we never skirmished with anyone and we will continue with our peaceful cause for better lives for Zimbabweans.
Our Party is a people driven party with no tribal and racial segregation problems. We have values since our liberation struggle days and we won't be moved or tolerate such media fraud from Radio VOP.
We distance ourselves from such cheap politics of tribal discrimination, our Party will continue to advocate for democracy for all tribes regardless of majority or minority figures. Proportional representation is also one of our chief priorities as we urge closer to a free and fair Zimbabwe.
