Sugar mama nabbed

A CHITUNGWIZA woman who was claiming to be in love with a 14-year-old boy was arrested on two counts of aggravated indecent assault and rape.

Merjury Zingave (22) who resides in St Mary's Chitungwiza pleaded guilty when she appeared before Chitungwiza Magistrate Timeon Makunde on Thursday.

She was remanded in custody to 11 July for trial.

Prosecutor Ntombikayise Nleya told the court that sometime in April this year at around 7pm, the boy, who resides in Waterfalls, was called by the accused to her place of residence. The two had sex.

After the act, the accused gave the juvenile $3 to use as pocket money at school.

The court heard that on another date not known by the Prosecutor in April at around 1900 hours, the complainant was again called by Zingave at her place of residence and repeated the same act.
She gave the boy $3 pocket money.

Further allegations are that on the 19th of June, the accused called the complaint to her place of residence in Manyame Park and had sex with him for the third time without his consent.

After the act the juvenile slept the whole night with the accused at her house and did not go to his parents' house the next day.

The matter came to light when the complainant's parents noticed that he had not come home and went to look for him at his school.

The complainant then disclosed to his parents and teacher why he was not coming home and that he was sexually abused by the accused.

A police report was made leading to Zingave's arrest.
