Another Baba Jukwa suspect Phillip Kudzayi has been granted $5 000 bail by the High Court with the state's consent.
Phillip Kudzayi, brother to Sunday Mail editor Edmund Kudzayi who is also facing charges of committing serious crimes against the state which include subverting a constitutional government and attempting to commit acts of insurgency, banditry, sabotage and terrorism was this Friday granted bail by the High Court.
Justice Joseph Musakwa admitted Phillip Kudzayi to $5 000 bail as per the draft order issued by Tawanda Zvekare from the Prosecutor General's office.
Phillip Kudzayi will be expected to report twice daily at Harare Central police station CID Law and Order offices and must surrender title deeds to number 531 Bluff Hill, a property belonging to his mother-in-law, and his passport to the Harare Magistrates Court.
His other bail conditions are that he resides at his given address and restricts himself to a 40 kilometre radius from the Harare Main Post Office and if he requires to travel beyond the restricted area he will have to seek leave of the court.
He will also have to surrender his password to his Gmail account philkudzayi@gmail.com to Assistant Commissioner Chrispen Makedenge the investigating officer in the case.
